Last New Year we were at a houseparty in Aviemore in Scotland, celebrating our friends' 25th wedding anniversary. We were a little unsure of what to expect and wondered what their friends would be like. We needn't have worried. We ended up with more friends than we started with!
(Dunno how long I'm going to be able to keep this friends theme going ...)

I'm not sticking with the "friends" theme, as you've certainly noticed. I take the theme as a pretext to help bloggers get going on NaBloPoMo, but I figure it's a take it or leave it thing. The main thing is to post every day.
