oh gosh, how did I miss this news. how pink floyd provided the soundtrack for so much of my life....although I have to admit I haven't really listened to them in a while - as all my pink floyd recordings are vinyl or cassette (and don't have the hardware anymore to play either...)
I'm happy I did see them once in concert - decades ago.... trippy as life was back then.
the rock & roll hall of fame and museum has a wonderful pink floyd exhibit as part of their permanent collection - so I always get a wee dose when I take visitors - what's a trip to cleveland without a trip to the museum!
thanks, although the news is so sad. off to youtube some pink floyd.

I was sorry to hear about Richard's death, too. He wrote "Us & Them," which remains one of my fave Pink Floyd songs...
sorry for your loss

Loved them since my early teens. Still have the vinyls, but most of the stuff is on CD too, or downloaded via iTunes.
Had my 1st smoochy dance to 'Us & Them.'
Caught them live in London in 94. Absolutely awesome. Still feeling a bit stunned at the news :-(
i'd just been listening to some PF again, by some odd chance...
