Ok. New Year's resolution no 1 -
Remember blog.
Actually I don't tend to make NY resolutions - after all, why set yourself up to fail?? But I do wish everyone a very happy, healthy and peaceful 2013. Hope you all had a great Christmas, Hanukkah, Holidays ...
2012 was, on the whole, a really great year for us; the highlights being the Olympics (wooo!!) and our daughter's wedding in June. The Queen very inconveniently had her Jubilee celebrations the same weekend, but we were out of London and celebrating in rural Oxfordshire. On the Saturday, the day of the wedding, the weather was overcast, but stayed dry for the ceremony and the heavens didn't open till we were all partying in the barn. We had an amazing day. Photos follow (not mine!)

I managed to get out with the camera a couple of times last month, so once I've downloaded the photos I might do another post or two. Here's hoping!!

Betty, I've taken up posting again. I think 2013 is the year of the renewed blogger.
Your daughter looks absolutely radiant.
You have? Oh great - will head on over. I see Betty C is blogging again too :)
Thank you. We all had a really wonderful day.
ah what fun the wedding...wonderful pics...they make a beautiful couple....hope you have a wonderful new year....
Betty -- I've been posting a bit more too -- nearly every day of my Christmas holiday. I think a lot of us have the same resolution. Mine is less time on Facebook, and use that time to blog! I love Facebook and don't spend hours on it, but find myself just going to it too often, and the time adds up.
Happy New Year to you! The wedding looks great...
So glad you're back to your blog! Yes, "remember blog" is a worthy resolution! :)
Glad you posted the photos! When Dave saw the bottom one he said, "I can't believe it's snowing there!" Ha.
Happy New Year to you and the family!
Hi Brian! Heading over to your blog now ...
Betty - facebook has been either a distraction or an excuse for me (not sure which) but I think it's too easy. Blogging requires more effort.
Steve - lol! And a happy new year to you and yours too.
Just looked at the photos again. No, my brother-in-law is really not licking my hair in the 3rd one.
Really.
