Can't believe it's almost 2 years since my last post!
I'm not one for resolutions (a little wary of setting myself up to fail!) but I may try blogging again in 2015......
Anyway, here endeth a year of sadness, joy, exhaustion, exhilaration, labour and leisure.
The usual stuff.
There was some travelling too.
A few weeks ago I was standing on the top of the Rockefeller Center in New York watching the setting sun gild the buildings of Manhattan. Beautiful!
One of my favourite cities.
Our younger daughter and her partner thought it was pretty cool too.
A very happy new year to anyone who remembers me.
While I begin to plan the next trip here's another shot of NYC ......

I of course remember you, and you were one of the (many) bloggers I checked up on when I started to blog again.
I went to NYC twice last year as one of our daughters is living there now! A fabulous city, I agree. I had actually never been there until our first trip to see her in 2013.
Well as you can see, I am back to blogging at La France Profonde (not The world from my windows, on your side bar.) I have even signed up for NaBloPoMo! Maybe you should give it a try?
