theme thursday - tree

So, I'm a week late for Theme Thursday. Never mind.

I found a banana tree growing in a garden in Normandy. Not sure if the little green fingers will ripen. It was a very hot day, but I think it'll take more than a day or two of sunshine.

Is this a sign of climate change, I wonder, finding tropical fruits growing in northern Europe?
